1 Vague personal updates
I don't really have anything new or exciting. The last two months so many folks around me have been sick. The change in weather has never really affected me. In fact, I'd say worrying about fire season, the sunny days have stressed me out more the last two years. BC and California have suffered quite a bit, so I feel thankful I have narrowly missed the worst.
2 Brainstorming
I started taking a look at the Godot docs because I keep hearing about it. I had originally wanted to work on a free ttrpg web tools app, but then I found PlanarAlly. So that lets me shift back over to a different problem space. I haven't really had time/energy to implement anything, but I've had lots of time to think.
Since it has GDNative which gives it bindings to C, it seems like a fun thing to try to build a cross platform app (specifically desktop/mobile/web). I don't really want to spend what time I have on that right, but it would give me an interesting change of pace.
2.1 Operating System Spaghetti
Just to finish my thoughts, I've spent some time reading and looking at how OSes, broadly the posix-like OSes, keep track of processes and binaries. I've placed some of what I've read below.
